Explore the Ocean through the sciences that help us understand it.

Researchers and science communicators invite you to explore some of the key topics in Ocean sciences today: climate, biodiversity, observation, technology, as well as the management and protection of marine environments. Throughout this new series of sessions for teachers, researchers share their latest work, give you a closer look at scientific instruments and real-world observation data, and provide resources and ideas that can be brought into the classroom.

Either online or in person, each session offers a chance to engage directly with researchers, deepen your Ocean knowledge, ask questions, discover new teaching approaches, and connect current research with learning in the classroom.

The series is open to primary and secondary school teachers, whether or not they are taking part in the adopt a float programme. (Free to attend · Registration required)
